Ingredients

  • Salmon fillets
  • Orange marmalade
  • Soy sauce
  • Garlic

Instructions

  • Start by setting your oven to 375°F (190°C). Preheating ensures that the salmon bakes evenly and develops that perfect flaky texture.
  • Using a saucepan over medium heat, combine the orange marmalade, soy sauce, and minced garlic. Stir continuously until the mixture is well-combined and slightly thickened. It should be smooth and glossy in about 5 minutes. Once it’s ready, set it aside to cool slightly.
  • Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. This prevents sticking and makes cleanup a breeze.
  • Generously brush or spoon the orange glaze over the salmon fillets. Be sure to coat each piece evenly so the flavors soak right in.
  • Bake the salmon in your preheated oven for 15-20 minutes. The timing may vary slightly depending on the thickness of your fillets. The salmon is ready when it flakes easily with a fork.
  • Remove the salmon from the oven and allow it to cool for a minute. For a pop of freshness and color, garnish with chopped parsley or sliced green onions before serving. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Rice: Fluffy white rice, brown rice, or quinoa will soak up the flavorful glaze.
  • Veggies: Serve with steamed broccoli, roasted asparagus, or sautéed green beans.
  • Salad: A crisp garden or citrus salad adds a refreshing touch.
  • Wine Pairing: For adult gatherings, pair it with a chilled Chardonnay or Sauvignon Blanc.
