Buffalo Wild Wings Southwest Ranch Pasta Recipe

Rebecca
I have to admit, this Southwest Ranch Pasta is a game-changer in our household! The first time I whipped this up, I couldn't believe how closely it resembled the restaurant version—but dare I say, it tasted even better fresh out of my kitchen.
Prep Time 10 minutes
Cook Time 4 hours

Ingredients

  • 1 block cream cheese 8 oz
  • 16 oz heavy whipping cream
  • 3 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1 lb pasta of your choice
  • 1 bottle Buffalo Wild Wings Southwest Ranch Sauce

Instructions

  • Season the chicken breasts lightly with salt and pepper, then place them in your crockpot. Pour the entire bottle of Buffalo Wild Wings Southwest Ranch Sauce over the top. Layer in the cream cheese, heavy whipping cream, Parmesan, and cheddar. 🍗✨

  • Set your crockpot to HIGH and cook for 4 hours (or LOW for 6 hours, if you have more time). Once done, use a fork to shred the chicken directly in the crockpot, blending it into the creamy sauce. 🧀🔥 Stir everything together to ensure the flavors mingle beautifully.
  • While the chicken and sauce are finishing up, cook your pasta as per the package instructions. Whether you prefer penne, fettuccine, or cavatappi, it’s all up to you. Drain and set aside. 🍝💦
  • Add the cooked pasta to the crockpot and stir gently until coated in the luscious sauce. Give it a few minutes to absorb all the delicious flavors. 🎉✨
  • For extra flair, sprinkle shredded cheddar or Parmesan on top and garnish with fresh parsley. You can even add crispy bacon bits for an extra burst of flavor. 🍽💚 Serve immediately and enjoy every creamy, spicy mouthful!

Notes

  • Use Freshly Shredded Cheese: Avoid pre-shredded cheese, as it doesn’t melt as smoothly. Grating directly from the block makes a big difference.
  • Don’t Overcook Your Pasta: Keep pasta al dente (firm to the bite). This helps it hold up better in the creamy sauce.
  • Season as You Go: Taste the sauce before combining it with pasta, and adjust spices or salt levels to your preference.
  • Rest the Dish Before Serving: Allowing the pasta to sit for 5 minutes enhances the flavors, making each bite even more satisfying.
