Buffalo Wild Wings Street Tacos Recipe
Rebecca
Street tacos are the kind of dish that feels like a warm hug in every bite. I made these Buffalo Wild Wings-style street tacos recently, and wow, are they a flavor explosion! The combination of shredded chicken coated in creamy Garlic Parmesan sauce, topped with zesty pico de gallo, and drizzled with Southwestern Ranch is pure magic.
Prep Time 15 minutes mins
Cook Time 15 minutes mins
- 2 chicken breasts
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 3 cloves roasted garlic
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- 1.5 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
- 1.5 tsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp minced onion
- ½ tsp sugar
- ½ tsp lemon juice
- ¼ tsp kosher salt
- ¼ tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- ½ tsp Italian seasoning
- ¼ cup ranch dressing
- ½ tsp chipotle pepper seasoning
- ¼ tsp garlic salt
- ½ tsp finely diced cilantro
- 8 small flour tortillas
- ½ cup pico de gallo
- ¼ cup fresh cilantro
Mash the roasted garlic in a mixing bowl until smooth. Add mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, apple cider vinegar, minced onion, sugar, lemon juice, kosher salt, red pepper flakes, and Italian seasoning. Whisk until creamy and set aside in the fridge to chill. The longer it chills, the better the flavors combine. 🧄 🧀
Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then drizzle with olive oil. Cook in an air fryer at 375°F for 8–10 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 155°F. Allow the chicken to rest for 5–10 minutes to lock in the juices. 🍗
Place the cooked chicken in a large mixing bowl and shred it with two forks. Pour the prepared Garlic Parmesan sauce over the chicken and mix until fully coated.
Combine ranch dressing, chipotle seasoning, garlic salt, and fresh cilantro in a small bowl. Whisk until smooth. This smoky, spicy sauce will elevate every bite. 🌿
Warm the tortillas in a skillet for about 30 seconds on each side. Scoop the shredded chicken mixture into each tortilla, drizzle with Southwestern Ranch, and top with pico de gallo and chopped cilantro. Serve immediately and enjoy with your favorite sides!
- Roast Fresh Garlic: Roasted garlic adds a rich, mellow sweetness to the sauce. Don’t skip it! Want other roasted garlic recipes?
- Rest the Chicken: Give the chicken a few minutes to rest after cooking to keep it juicy and easy to shred.
- Warm Tortillas: Heating the tortillas makes them more pliable and prevents breakage while assembling.
- Double the Sauce: If you love saucy tacos, consider making extra Garlic Parmesan and Southwestern Ranch sauces ahead of time.
