Instructions
 

  • Start by mixing chicken with ginger paste, garlic paste, red chili powder, salt, and a dash of vegetable oil. 🥣 Combine everything evenly, cover it well, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. This step ensures that every bite of the chicken is infused with flavor.
  • Heat some oil in your pan, toss in sliced onions, and sauté until they’re translucent and golden. Stir in garlic and ginger paste to amplify the aroma. Next, add chopped tomatoes and all your spices (cumin, coriander, turmeric, and chili powder). Stir occasionally until the tomatoes break down into a thick, luscious sauce. A splash of water binds the sauce beautifully.
  • Heat a bit of oil in a separate pan and cook the marinated chicken until it’s golden brown and fully cooked. Add the chicken into your rich Jalfrezi sauce and mix until every piece is coated.
