Ingredients

  • ½ cup unsalted butter softened
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 2 tablespoons chili crunch
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 large baguette
  • 1 cup Italian cheese blend shredded
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil chopped

Instructions

  • To start, take out a small mixing bowl and add the softened butter. Mix in the minced garlic, chili crunch, and garlic powder, stirring until it forms a smooth and vibrant spread. The chili crunch will give the mixture a deliciously nutty, red swirl.
  • Take the baguette, and with a sharp knife, cut it into quarters. Then, slice each quarter lengthwise to reveal the soft, fluffy interior. These slices are the perfect canvas for all that buttery goodness!
  • Place the sliced baguette pieces on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Spread the chili crunch garlic butter over the cut side of each piece, making sure the edges are coated as well. A little extra butter never hurt anyone!
  • Sprinkle a generous helping of shredded Italian cheese blend on top of each slice. For an extra hint of spice, drizzle a bit of chili crunch over the cheese. This step takes the bread to a whole new level of indulgent greatness.
  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and bake the bread for about 10–12 minutes. Keep an eye on it toward the end to make sure the cheese melts evenly and turns deliciously crispy around the edges.
  • Remove the bread from the oven, and immediately sprinkle it with fresh parsley and basil. The fresh herbs add a vibrant finish that balances the richness of the other flavors. Serve warm and watch it disappear in no time!

Notes

  • Make Ahead: Assemble the bread with the garlic butter and cheese, then refrigerate for up to 24 hours. Bake as instructed when ready to serve.
  • Storage: Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
  • Reheating: For best results, reheat in the oven or toaster oven to retain crispiness. Avoid the microwave to prevent sogginess.
