Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets about 6 ounces each
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill chopped

Instructions

  • Prep the Salmon: Place salmon fillets on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Pat dry with paper towels to help the glaze adhere.
  • Make the Glaze: In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, honey, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, garlic, and paprika. Add water if needed for consistency.
  • Apply the Glaze: Brush the glaze generously over the salmon fillets, coating all sides.
  • Bake the Salmon: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake for 20-25 minutes, checking for doneness (flakes easily with a fork).
  • Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped dill and lemon zest. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Quality Salmon: Use fresh, high-quality fillets for the best results.
  • Customize the Glaze: Adjust the honey and lemon ratio for your desired sweetness and tanginess.
  • Avoid Overbaking: Check the salmon at 20 minutes to keep it moist.
  • Marinate Option: Marinate the salmon in the glaze for 30 minutes for an extra flavor boost.
  • Make-Ahead: Prepare the glaze in advance and store it in the refrigerator for up to a day.
