Ingredients

  • Frozen chopped spinach
  • Cream cheese
  • Sour cream
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Mayonnaise
  • Garlic
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Red pepper flakes
  • Refrigerated pizza dough
  • Melted butter
  • Grated Parmesan cheese
  • Garlic powder
  • Dried parsley flakes

Instructions

  • First, grab a mixing bowl and add the thawed, well-drained spinach, cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, garlic, and seasonings. Mix everything until smooth and creamy. The result should be a delicious spinach dip that’s ready to star in your dish.
  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Roll the pizza dough into a large rectangle on a clean surface. Using a knife or pizza cutter, carefully cut out a Christmas tree shape. Don’t forget to include a rectangular base for the tree trunk.
  • Transfer the dough to a parchment-lined baking sheet. Spread the spinach dip generously over the tree, leaving a small border at the edges. With the extra dough pieces, fold and layer them over the dip to form branches. Press gently to seal the seams and create a stunning, sculpted design. 🌟
  • Place the breadsticks in the preheated oven and bake for 15–20 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown, and the dip is bubbling.
  • While it bakes, mix melted butter with Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and parsley. When your Christmas tree breadsticks come out, brush the flavorful mixture over the top for a glossy finish.

Notes

  • Thaw Completely: Make sure the spinach is fully thawed and well-drained to avoid watery dip.
  • Use Cold Dough for Shaping: Slightly chilled pizza dough is easier to trim into the Christmas tree shape.
  • Customize Heat Levels: Adjust the red pepper flakes to suit your spice preference.
  • Don’t Overbake: Keep a close eye to avoid drying out the breadsticks.
