Ingredients

  • Sirloin steak
  • Butter
  • Garlic
  • Fresh thyme
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Fresh parsley
  • Lemon wedges

Instructions

  • Pat the steak pieces dry with paper towels. This is an important step to ensure a perfect sear. Season generously with salt and black pepper for a mouthwatering taste.
  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat, melting a tablespoon of butter until it’s hot and bubbly. Gently place the steak pieces in a single layer. Sear each side for 2-3 minutes until you get that golden-brown crust. Remove the steak bites and set them aside.
  • Using the same skillet, melt the remaining butter. Toss in minced garlic and thyme leaves. Sauté for about a minute or until the garlic becomes fragrant and golden–it smells divine! 👌
  • Add the seared steak bites back into the skillet, tossing them until they’re fully coated in the rich garlic butter sauce. Garnish with fresh parsley for a pop of color and flavor. Serve immediately with lemon wedges for a zesty twist. 🍋

Notes

  • Pat Steak Dry: Drying the steak ensures it gets that irresistible crust when seared.
  • Use a Hot Pan: A hot skillet is key for achieving a golden exterior on the steak bites.
  • Don’t Overcrowd the Pan: Cook in batches if needed to avoid steaming instead of searing.
  • Personalize the Garlic: Add more or less garlic based on your flavor preference.
