Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup peach preserves
  • 2 pounds chicken wings
  • 1/4 cup hot sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • Oil for frying, about 3–4 cups if deep frying

Instructions

  • Start by seasoning the chicken wings with a mix of salt, paprika, and garlic powder. This gives the wings a flavorful base before cooking. 🧂
  • Preheat your fryer (or air fryer) to 350°F. This ensures the wings are cooked evenly and achieve that golden crispiness. 🔥
  • While the fryer is heating, melt butter in a saucepan. Stir in minced garlic, hot sauce, soy sauce, and peach preserves. Cook the mixture for about five minutes, allowing it to thicken into a silky glaze. 🍑
  • Fry wings in small batches for 12-15 minutes until they’re golden brown and crispy. If you’re using an air fryer, cook them in one layer for about the same time. Use tongs to transfer onto a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil. 🍗
  • Toss the wings in the hot honey peach glaze until they’re well-coated. Serve them immediately with your favorite dipping sauces. Don’t forget the napkins! 🤤

Notes

  • Pound for Even Cooking: If your chicken wings are uneven in size, lightly pound them to ensure consistent cooking.
  • Keep the Glaze Warm: If your sauce cools and thickens too much, gently reheat it on the stove for effortless coating.
  • Don't Overcrowd the Fryer: Cook the wings in small batches to maintain their crispiness. Overcrowding lowers the oil temperature.
