Ingredients

  • Cream Cheese
  • Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • Cooked Sausage
  • Diced Jalapeños
  • Garlic Powder
  • Sour Cream
  • Bread Crumbs
  • Olive Oil
  • Salt and Pepper

Instructions

  • Start by cooking your sausage in a skillet over medium heat until it’s browned and fragrant. Once done, set it aside. Then, in the same skillet, sauté the diced jalapeños until they soften and give off a spicy aroma. 🌶️
  • Grab a mixing bowl and combine the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir everything together until it’s nice and creamy. 🧀
  • Now, mix in your cooked sausage and sautéed jalapeños. This is where the magic begins! Make sure everything is evenly distributed so you’ll get all the flavors in every bite.
  • Transfer the mixture into your baking dish, spreading it out evenly. Top it with a sprinkle of bread crumbs for that golden, crunchy topping, and drizzle with olive oil. Bake in the oven at 375°F until the dip is bubbling and browned on top. This usually takes about 20–25 minutes. 🥘
  • Take it out of the oven and let it cool for a minute before digging in. Pair it with tortilla chips, bread, or veggie sticks, and watch as everyone happily dives in.

Notes

  • Use Room-Temperature Cream Cheese: It'll be easier to mix and create that smooth, creamy texture everyone loves.
  • Don’t Skip the Topping: The breadcrumbs add an irresistible crunch, so don’t skimp on them.
  • Taste and Adjust the Seasoning: Add salt and spices to fit your taste buds before baking.
  • Drain Any Excess Grease: To avoid a greasy texture, drain your sausage properly before mixing it into your dip.
