Ingredients

  • 2 ribeye or filet mignon steaks room temperature
  • 1 cup fresh shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup lobster stock
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • ¼ cup white wine
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes optional
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Pat steaks dry, rub with olive oil, and season with salt and pepper.
  • Heat a cast-iron skillet on high, sear steaks for 3-4 minutes per side (medium-rare). Rest for 5 minutes.
  • In a sauté pan, melt butter, cook garlic until fragrant, add shrimp, and season. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, then set aside.
  • Deglaze pan with white wine, add lobster stock, simmer, then stir in cream, butter, and red pepper flakes.
  • Plate steaks, top with shrimp, and spoon lobster sauce over. Garnish with parsley.

Notes

  • Ensure steaks are at room temperature before cooking for even results.
  • Rest the steak after cooking to lock in juices.
  • Cook shrimp in batches if needed to avoid overcrowding the pan.
  • Store leftovers separately in airtight containers for up to 3 days in the fridge.
