Ingredients
3 cups broccoli florets
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (keto-friendly)
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 teaspoon dried basil
Salt and pepper, to taste
Optional: 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (for spice)
Instructions
Steam broccoli: Fill a pot with 2 inches water, bring to boil, reduce heat. Steam broccoli 3-5 minutes until tender.
Sauté garlic: In skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic; cook 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Combine cream and Parmesan: Pour heavy cream into skillet; stir. Add Parmesan; stir until melted.
Combine broccoli and sauce: Add steamed broccoli to skillet; toss.
Season: Add basil, salt, pepper and red pepper flakes (if using).
