Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh broccoli florets (bite-sized)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • ½ cup red onion, finely chopped
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp sugar (or sweetener)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Prepare Broccoli

  • Wash and cut broccoli into small florets
  • Optional: blanch for 1–2 minutes if you prefer softer texture

2. Cook Bacon

  • Cook bacon until crispy
  • Let cool, then crumble

3. Make Dressing

In a bowl, mix:

  • Mayonnaise
  • Apple cider vinegar
  • Sugar
  • Salt & pepper

Stir until smooth and creamy


4. Combine

  • In a large bowl, add broccoli, cheese, bacon, and onion
  • Pour dressing over
  • Toss until everything is well coated

5. Chill

  • Refrigerate for 30 minutes to let flavors blend

6. Serve

Serve cold as a side dish or light meal


Additional Notes

  • Chop broccoli small for best texture
  • Don’t skip chilling — flavor gets much better
  • Add sunflower seeds for extra crunch
