Creamy, filling, and incredibly easy to prepare the night before. This version is inspired by the oats shown in the picture, with bananas, berries, and crunchy almonds on top.
Ingredients — 1 serving
- ½ cup old-fashioned rolled oats
- ½ cup unsweetened almond milk
- ¼ cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1–2 teaspoons zero-calorie sweetener, optional
- ¼ cup fresh or frozen raspberries
- ¼ cup fresh blueberries
Toppings
- ½ small banana, sliced
- 1 tablespoon sliced almonds
- A few extra raspberries and blueberries
- 1 teaspoon chopped nuts, optional
👩🍳 Instructions
- Combine the base:
Add oats, almond milk, Greek yogurt, chia seeds, vanilla, and sweetener to a jar or container. - Add the berries:
Gently fold in the raspberries and blueberries. You can lightly mash a few berries to release their flavor. - Refrigerate:
Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight. - Stir:
In the morning, stir well. If the oats are too thick, add a splash of almond milk. - Add toppings:
Arrange sliced banana, berries, and almonds on top just before serving. - Serve:
Enjoy chilled, or microwave for about 30–60 seconds if you prefer warm oats.
💡 Tip
For a higher-protein version, add another ¼ cup Greek yogurt or a scoop of protein powder. If you’re calling it “sugar-free,” use unsweetened milk/yogurt and a sweetener with no added sugar—the fruit still naturally contains sugar.
