- 2 large onions
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ cup almond flour (or crushed pork rinds for extra low-carb)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp dried parsley
- ½ tsp black pepper
- Salt to taste

Instructions
- Prepare the onions
- Peel onions and cut them into petal-shaped pieces by separating the layers.
- Prepare coating bowls
- In one bowl, whisk eggs until smooth.
- In another bowl, mix Parmesan cheese, almond flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, parsley, salt, and pepper.
- Coat the onion petals
- Dip each onion petal into the egg mixture.
- Coat well with the seasoned Parmesan mixture.
- Air fry
- Preheat air fryer to 190°C (374°F).
- Place coated onion petals in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Spray lightly with cooking spray.
- Air fry for 8–10 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Serve
- Serve hot with your favourite low-carb dip.
