1๏ธโฃ Mix Dry Ingredients
In a saucepan (while cold), whisk together:
Sugar, cornstarch, and flour.

Slowly pour in the milk while whisking to avoid lumps.
Make sure everything is fully dissolved before turning on heat.

Place over medium heat.
Stir constantly until mixture thickens (about 8โ10 minutes).
It should become smooth and creamy like thick pudding.

Remove from heat.
Stir in butter and vanilla until fully melted and combined.
If using condensed milk or cream, add now and mix well.
