Ingredients:
- 4 cups water
- 1–2 inch piece fresh ginger, peeled and thinly sliced
- ½ lemon, sliced (optional)
- 1 teaspoon honey or natural sweetener (optional)
- Few mint leaves (optional)
Instructions:
Step 1: Prepare the Ginger
- Wash and peel the ginger.
- Slice it into thin pieces or grate it for a stronger flavor.
Step 2: Make Ginger Water
- Add 4 cups of water and ginger slices to a saucepan.
- Bring to a gentle boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 10–15 minutes.
- Turn off the heat and let it cool slightly.
