Ingredients
- 2 cups unsweetened high-protein milk or skim milk
- 1 cup Greek yogurt, preferably 0–2% fat
- 2 scoops chocolate protein powder
- 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 frozen banana
- ½ cup ice
- 1–2 tbsp powdered peanut butter (optional)
- 1–2 tsp honey or zero-calorie sweetener, to taste
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- 2–4 tbsp cold milk, only if needed for blending
Instructions
- Add the liquid first to a high-speed blender.
- Add Greek yogurt, chocolate protein powder, cocoa powder, frozen banana, vanilla, salt, and sweetener.
- Add the ice and powdered peanut butter if using.
- Blend on high for 45–60 seconds until completely smooth and thick.
- For an extra-thick, mousse-like consistency like the pictured drink, use less liquid and blend with the tamper/pause-and-stir method.
- Pour immediately into two chilled glasses.
- For the whipped-looking top, reserve a few spoonfuls of the thick mixture and spoon it over the drinks.

Tip: For the thickest possible shake, freeze the banana beforehand and refrigerate the Greek yogurt and milk. This gives you that thick, creamy, soft-serve-style chocolate texture without needing ice cream.
