Ingredients
For the Burger Filling
- 1 lb lean ground beef (90/10 or 93/7)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 8 small low-carb or corn tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 small tomato, diced
- Pickles, sliced (optional)
For the Burger Sauce
- ¼ cup Greek yogurt or light mayo
- 1 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp mustard
- 1 tbsp pickle juice
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
Instructions
- Mix ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Place a thin layer of beef directly onto each tortilla and press it firmly so the meat sticks to the tortilla.
- Place the tortilla beef-side down in the hot pan. Cook for 3–4 minutes until the beef gets a crispy smash-burger crust.
- Flip the taco, add shredded cheddar cheese, and cook another 1–2 minutes until the cheese melts and the tortilla becomes crunchy.
- Mix all burger sauce ingredients together until smooth.
- Top each crunchy taco with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and burger sauce.
- Serve warm and enjoy a crispy taco with classic smash burger flavor.
